Guidelines to Students
Every student is expected to maintain discipline, punctuality, cleanliness and respect towards teachers, fellow students and the school environment. The following guidelines are designed to ensure a safe, healthy and productive learning atmosphere. Students are requested to read these instructions carefully and follow them sincerely throughout the academic year.
General School Guidelines
School Diary & Books
Every student shall bring the school diary and books/notebooks as per the time table every day. Students need not bring all books to school.
Classroom Discipline
Movement from one classroom to another shall be done in silence by forming a proper line.
Reading Materials
No journals, periodicals, magazines or newspapers are allowed inside classrooms other than the books prescribed by the school.
Punctuality
Students shall be present inside the school campus by 08:40 AM every day.
English Communication
Students shall converse with one another only in English during school hours except during language classes.
School Functions
Attendance during all school functions and celebrations is compulsory.
Books & Belongings
Books and notebooks should be neatly covered and labelled. Personal belongings such as water bottles, lunch boxes and school bags should also be labelled for easy identification.
School Property
Any damage caused to school property by a student shall be compensated by the student.
Leaving the Campus
No student shall leave the school premises during class hours without the permission of the Principal.
Valuable Items
Students are not allowed to bring jewellery, wrist watches, mobile phones or any valuable materials to school. Students are solely responsible for the safety of their belongings.
Uniform & Grooming
Students shall wear the prescribed school uniform with clean shoes. They should come to school with trimmed nails and neatly combed hair.
School Staff
Students are not allowed to have any personal transactions with school staff in any manner.
Healthy Food
Only healthy and nutritious food is allowed inside the school campus.
Examination Rules
No retest shall be conducted for formative or summative examinations. Under serious medical conditions, re-examinations may be considered only on submission of a medical certificate and the prescribed re-exam fee (Rs.100 per subject).
Girls' Hair
Girls with hair below shoulder length should neatly plait their hair. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.
Good Behaviour
Bullying, intimidating fellow students and the use of foul language are strictly prohibited within the school campus.
School Gate Timing
The school gate shall be closed by 9:00 AM. Late coming is strictly not entertained.
Rules for Attendance
- ✔ Saturdays are half working days for Std I to VIII for Club Activities, Games and Sports. In case of holidays on Saturdays, the school will intimate in advance.
- ✔ Attendance is compulsory on the first day and the last day of every school term.
- ✔ Students shall not be permitted to go home during school hours.
- ✔ In case a student takes leave for more than three consecutive days, a medical certificate shall be submitted along with the leave letter.
- ✔ Attendance is compulsory during Annual Day, Sports Day, Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations.
- ✔ Minimum 85% attendance is required to appear for Semester Examinations.

Students are expected to maintain discipline, respect teachers and fellow students, follow school rules, wear the prescribed uniform, attend classes regularly and actively participate in academic as well as co-curricular activities.
Good discipline, punctuality and regular attendance are the foundation
of academic excellence and character building.
